On the last day of term, RCSC hosted a colour run for our students in conjunction with our house cross country and a school fundraiser. The community did an amazing job with a total of $1,348 raised. These funds will go towards outdoor seating around the basketball courts, as decided by our SRC team.

Winners of the fundraising incentives were:
Week 1 - classes with the most profiles created: 7B & 12A.
Week 2- $50 city heart gift card: Chris Babington
Week 3- Laptop: Kylah Maher.

Congratulations Terragong for taking out the trophy. Well done to all who participated on the day! #reddyproud
We are happy to announce that as of Term 2, we will be using Flexischools as our main Canteen ordering & payment method. Parents will need to create an account, link their children and load money onto their account. Students will then be able to use their Compass ID Card to purchase items from our Canteen.

Please follow the instructions on the attached flyer to setup your account, if you require any further assistance please don't hesitate to contact us.
We are proud of our performing arts students and their work throughout term 1. Enjoy some highlights from our year 8, 9 and 10 dance classes.

Girls in Physics Breakfast 2024
There are some fascinating careers out there in the field of physics, and last Tuesday morning, over a delicious breakfast, Dr Gail Iles took local students on a journey through her own amazing career. From getting her pilots licence to training astronauts and performing experiments on magnetic materials in zero gravity. She is currently an Associate Professor in STEM at RMIT.

The Girls in Physics Breakfast is an annual event in Sunraysia and we hope to see our Reddy students continue to attend in years to come, especially those with a keen interest in maths and physics.
Last day of Term 1 - Thursday 28th March 2024.
Walkathon & Colour Run.
School concludes at 2.30pm
On Friday 2nd March the RCSC concert band had its first rehearsal since about 2019. Students from years 7, 8 and 10 got together with Miss McGann and made a start on learning their ensemble music. With a mix of trumpets, trombones, saxophones, flutes and clarinets the group was able to make a fantastic sound!
