Our facilities

 

Facilities at the College include eight permanent buildings, including a Community Activity Centre, incorporating a stadium, weights room and dance studio, a student centre which has a cafeteria, lecture space and year 12 centre, performing, visual arts and science wings and a library.  In addition, there are 9 relocatable buildings, including a wellbeing centre and doctor’s rooms, staffed by a social worker, chaplain, GP and school nurse. There are spaces for digital video editing, food, textiles, food, art, graphics and music.  A variety of teaching space designs allows for traditional and open learning spaces, university style lectures and small group tutorial environments.  Year 12 students have their own private study area and common room.

lecture theatre

This is a multifunctional space. When fully open it can seat 102 people making it an ideal space for guest speakers, year level assemblies and parent information nights. The space can also be divided into 3 individual learning spaces.

The space is fully equiped with 12 speakers, three 85inch touch panels and theatre lighting.

library

The Library is the central part of our school. Our vast range of resources are available to students anytime.  The Library is stocked with over 19,000 books, magazines and newspapers, 30 desktop computers and plenty of desk space for private study or group work. 

Open from 8:30am – 4pm Monday to Friday.

canteen

Our canteen is located in the student centre. It is stocked with a wide range of food and drinks. Open from 8am to 2pm each day. Orders can be made online using our Compass portal and App.

year 12 study space

Indulge in a spacious and well-lit area, thoughtfully furnished with comfortable ergonomic chairs, large study desks, and ample storage solutions for all your study materials. Our space is designed to accommodate both individual study needs and collaborative projects, providing flexibility to meet your academic requirements.

Activity centre

Train like a champion in our multi-purpose indoor court, where you can engage in team sports, practice your individual skills, and participate in friendly competitions. From basketball and volleyball to badminton and cricket, our versatile court provides the perfect setting for you to showcase your talents and enjoy the thrill of spirited play.

For those seeking strength and muscle development, our weightlifting area offers a comprehensive selection of free weights, resistance machines, and functional training equipment. Whether you’re targeting specific muscle groups or engaging in full-body workouts, our gym provides the tools and space to help you build strength and sculpt your ideal physique.

wellbeing centre

At Red Cliffs Secondary College, the wellbeing of the students in our care is our highest priority. Our school is an environment where all children feel safe and supported.

 

Our qualified team of staff along with our wellbeing dog Eddy are dedicated to looking after the wellbeing of our students and supporting those with disabilities and learning difficulties.
